Posting a Set of Photos:
- Sign up for a Flickr account (Flickr is great, quick & easy, but other sites work too).
- Upload your photos to Flickr.
- Organize your photos into Sets, or groups of tags.
- Click on the Flickr Photo you want to post.
- Click “sizes” above your photo and select the size you want.
- Scroll down and select the text in the first box that says “embed this html into a webpage”
- Copy the html test.
- Paste copied text in your post by clicking of the “code” tab and selecting paste. Be in awe of you photo powers.
a. To post on SustainYou directly from Flickr:
- Click the “blog this “ button above your photo.
- Enter API Endpoint:http://www.sustainyou.com/blog/xmlrpc.php
- When prompted enter your SustainYou username & password
- Select a post layout.
- Add photo and text to post. Click Post.
- Check on the SustainYou Blog that you post shows up correctly. Delete post if needed.

b. Include a slideshow of photos:
Posting Videos:
- Sign up for a Youtube account (Youtube is great, quick & easy, but other sites work too).
- Upload your edited video to YouTube.
- Once your video is uploaded, copy the “Embed” test in the middle left of yuor youtube video page. It will look like this:

Uploading & Including images in your post:
- Click where you would like to insert an image in your text bock and click the “image manager” icon (the last small icon showing 3 tiny windows).
- A popup window will appear.
- To create a new folder for your uploaded images, click on the upper right button with a folder and red star.
- Type your name as the name of the folder. Click on the newly created folder with your name; it will display “no images.”
- To upload images to this folder click the “Browse” button located at the bottom middle of the window.
- Select the image on your computer and click upload.
- You can upload as many images as you want to your folder, but unfortunately each image must be uploaded to the folder one at a time.
- Each uploaded image will show up as an icon in the image manager window.
Formating images within your post:
- To include the images select the image in the image manager window.
- The link and title boxes in the image manager window will then fill out.
- To align the image in your post, click on the align pull-down menu.
- Selecting “top” will place the image at the top of your post.
- Slecting “right” will place the image to the right of text in your post.
- The pull-down “insert as:” menu allows you choose how to insert your image into your post.
- “Thumbnail with image pop-up is reccomended.
- To include only a text link to the image select “link only.”
- To include a full size image in your post select “image.” When inserting a full size image, make sure the images is 450 pixels or less!
Resizing and Cropping images:
- While in the “Image Manager” window open your picture folder.
- Below the image icons in your folder are tiny images of a trash can and a pencil.
- Click on the tiny pencil icon to edit your uploaded image.
- An editing window will pop up.
