I haven’t even had time to read it all yet, but there’s an intriguing city pages article, “You Are Where You Eat,” with really funny pictures. Are you a byerly’s babe, a Cub Foods Consumer, or a Whole Foods, Whole Paycheck Hipster?
Whole Foods is very close to my house so I’ve been known to drop many a food stamp there (ironically, food stamps actually gives me the illusion that I don’t have to worry as much about buying slightly more expensive food that I actually like to eat, which can be both good and bad). This article makes me reconsider that a bit though. Perhaps next time I’m looking for some good produce I’ll hop south to Mississippi Market and check their prices for a change of pace.
Anyway the article is worth checking out just to look at the funny pictures of typical shoppers at various grocery chains.
